At West Pennard we believe strongly in keeping abreast of new technologies in order to improve the teaching and learning experience enjoyed by our children. We teach our pupils how to stay safe online and have a number of e-safety rules / guidelines to which the children all agree at the beginning of each academic year. We also will be holding an information evening on e-sense for parents, planned for the Spring Term, led by a County Advisor. At the evening we intend to have Year 5 and 6 children putting together and performing a short play about their experiences of the digital world. On this page you will find materials from previous information evenings and guidance from ELiM. We hope you find this of interest and informative.

For our anti-bullying week this year (Nov 13) we have a variety of activities happening to help children understand some of the issues that they may face in school. On Monday Children's World are coming in to do workshops and then a performance in the afternoon. On Tuesday we have a performance of 'Bully Off' by the Fat Cat Theatre Company. And on Friday we have a sharing assembly, where we all share some of the things we have learnt about this week.
