Role 1: Teaching Assistant (One-to-One)
30 hrs per week (1:1 role)
1:1 Grade 15 point 3-4
Required from 6th January 2025
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and friendly one to one Teaching Assistant to support a child with specific learning needs on a one-to-one and small group basis.
We are looking for someone who:
· Has experience or an interest in working with children with complex needs.
· Can develop confidence and self-esteem but also establish clear boundaries
· Is experienced in working with children who have special educational needs, has a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting children’s needs, with a resilient mind-set.
· Can demonstrate good communication, listening, and questioning skills
· Is committed to inclusion
· Is able to promote high standards of behaviour through positive language and attitudes
· Has the ability to remain calm under all circumstances
· Is willing and able to work collaboratively and flexibly with staff, parents/carers and other agencies as required.
- An interest in / experience of working with children with past trauma.
The role will involve supporting a child who has specific needs.

This is a term time post of 30 hours per week. Term time only. Monday to Friday 8:45 to 3:15 with 30 minutes for lunch.

Role 2: Cleaner Required
- Permanent
- 15 hours per week, ideally 3:00pm – 6:00pm Monday to Friday (or by negotiation)
- Term time plus 3 additional weeks during school closures (41 working weeks)
- Possibility of free wrap around care for a candidate with children already enrolled in the school to coincide with hours worked
- Grade 16 point 2 (Full Time Equivalent (FTE) £22,366)
Are you a diligent and reliable individual who would like to support the lives and education of young children?
We are seeking to appoint a pro-active and efficient individual to join our dedicated team in ensuring the school site is a clean, safe environment for children to be educated and achieve their best possible outcomes.
As a cleaner, you will perform a variety of regular and ad hoc cleaning and tasks and duties including:
- Cleaning, dusting, polishing, mopping and vacuuming
- Cleaning of toilets
- Any additional duties as written in the cleaning specification.
- Deeper cleaning duties during school closures and Summer break.
